Digital Bangladesh is at present a buzz word among the people of Bangladesh. It means   digitalizing Bangladesh by ensuring an ICT (information and computer technology) based society. If Bangladesh is digitalized, all possible takes of government and other non-government will be performed using digital technology.

Making digital Bangladesh was an election manifesto of Awami league, one of the political parties of Bangladesh. Their target is to make Bangladesh digital by the next decade. To materialize the hope of digital Bangladesh, our present government has taken some drastic actions.

Bangladesh is an independent country. She has achieved her freedom more then 38 years ago. But still she is burdened with many problems. The motto of digital Bangladesh is to solve these problems and establish technology based digital governance, e-commerce, e-production, etc.

The benefits of digital Bangladesh are many. If we can establish a digital Bangladesh, corruption will be drastically reduced. It will save people’s time and money and will make people enterprising. It will make people think globally and connect them with the whole world economically, politically, socially, academically, and even culturally. It will open door for the people to improve their conditions. It will improve banking and financial activities. Money transfer and transaction of business could be made within seconds by clicking the mouse of a computer. Digital Bangladesh will curb crime and corruption and pave the way for our rapid development.

For implementing this dream of digital Bangladesh, government has take certain initiatives. First of all, uninterrupted power supply has to be ensured. We have to develop computer network throughout the country. We have to train our people to acquire ICT skill.

After all we have to create an atmosphere of information and technology throughout the country.

Making a digital Bangladesh by 2021 is one of the commitments of the present government. If the government values this commitment, our dream of a digital Bangladesh will be materialized. 

    

Female Education

Education means the process of training, teaching and learning in institutions. Female education refers to education of the female sex. Education is a light to which everybody has equal right. Men and women are like the two sides of a coin. One side is incomplete without the other side. So; the development of both men and women is necessity for overall development of a country. Therefore, we cannot deny the necessity of education for our women folk.

 The light of education should be imparted to women. Women can certainly present a good and developed nation. Education mother are the nation builder of a country. The history of civilization shows that many great men of the world put more emphasis on female education. Napoleon once said, give me an educated mother and will give you an educated nation. The prophet of Islam also has made education compulsory of female education.

 Today’s girls are the future women and every woman is a potential mother. There is a saying in English that the hands that rock the cradle rule the world. As the mother play a vital role in making and shaping their children, they have to be education. An educated mother knows how to bring up her children. She can lead a healthy and planned life. An educated mother is aware of health and nutrition of her children. Besides, she can carry out her social responsibilities and contribute to the overall development of the country.

No nation can make real progress keeping half of its population in the darkness. If a woman is educated, she can participate in all kinds of developing activities of a country. She has the easy access to the better joys. She can join all kinds of state affairs. Now-a-day educated women can participate in the election. Thus, an educated woman can render better service for the country.

However, the situation is changing. Today’s parents are much more couscous of the education of their daughters. Women are now cam out of their cocoons. They are now being able to prove their potentiality and capability. In our country, the government has emphasis on female education. A free tuition fee of girl students up to degree level is a significant step to fulfill the dream of an enlightened country.

In fine we can say that to achieve success and prosperity we have to impart education to women. There is no alternative to his. People of all walks of life have to come forward in their journey to make the female educated. The government should also extend sufficient co-operation for the improvement of female education.
